For a number of years now I have felt the desire to invest in the lives and communities of those children in the world who are living in poverty. Poverty itself is an injustice but this injustice is at its worst when it’s against children. I started out in a small way by sponsoring a child in Thailand.
A few years later I was compelled to travel to Thailand to see first hand what my sponsorship was doing for her. What I discovered touched me to my soul. When I saw how my small monthly donation assisted not only her but her whole community, I decided where I was going to focus the future charitable works of Talking Business.
I am now able to commit a percentage of every customer’s account into Compassion and the wonderful work they do. I was once asked, “There is so much poverty in the world, how can helping one child matter to you so much?” I have a very simple answer to that question – It matters to that child!
